The Finnish Biocycle and Biogas Association promotes the recyclability of bioplastics at biogas plants

The Finnish Biocycle and Biogas Association aims to promote the recyclability of bioplastics at biogas plants. We will prepare a legislative review of the key regulations related to biodegradability, test the criteria at biogas plants and prepare recommendations based on them. In our work, we will look at the entire value chain:

• manufacturer of packaging material
• packer
• consumer 
• waste collector 
• waste recycler (biogas plant) and user of fertilising product
